Might I respectfully suggest that asking college presidents what the effects of abolishing tenure would be (via College Misery) is as if someone had asked George W. Bush what life is like for the people of New Orleans while he was flying over the city.
Update: Indeed, it’s not just the tenure questions that are the problem. This is from the first comment at College Misery:
They asked university presidents whether incoming students were prepared? They would have done a better job asking the custodial staff. They, after all, have actually seen students.
Perhaps they should have restricted their questions to fundraising and football.
