New Rolling Stones tracks are forty years old.

14 05 2010

It’s a sad state of things when the best music you’ve heard in ages is almost forty years old. NPR reports that the Rolling Stones are releasing “Exile on Main Street” next week with new tracks that didn’t make the cut on the original album. They have a few of those tracks up on their web site and they’re just as good as the rest of that album (which is no small feat since “Exile on Main Street” is the best album ever made).

I guess I’ll wait ’til I find out if I can just download the new ones before I order it.

Update: Mick talks to the BBC about the reissue.
